LILY ELISE MADE IN LA LET ME DOWN COVER

Bay Area alt-pop singer and songwriter Lils is releasing her first single after the release of her OLIVER EP, titled “Let Me Down” featuring artist duo, MADE IN LA. The single, a smooth, rhythmic record featuring soft, airy vocals, describes a desperate plea for clarity in a relationship.

Listen and share the song here.

The record was co-written, produced by, and features vocals from new-to- the-scene, LA duo, MADE IN LA. Says MADE IN LA, “Working with Lily is always a natural and easy process. From the first time we worked together, it was comfortable; we just clicked. When we were writing “Let Me Down” the session flowed in the way we hope they all will — basically, in a fun, creative, and collaborative way”

About the song, Lils stated, “When I’m talking to a guy and I’m not feeling it anymore, I’ve learned to just cut it off. It’s hard to do cuz we all want to have someone there when we feel like it, but honestly it’s not fair or cool to do that to someone… I just wish guys would do the same. Don’t try to keep us in your back pocket, just let us know what’s up and let it go. Only one guy in my dating history has done that for me and I respect him so much for it. Big ups to that guy.”

Lils will be performing this song and those from her recently released EP in a soulful, pop bill including collaborators MADE IN LA and opener, UK-based, Jessica Morgan. The show, takes place at Pour Vous in Hollywood, CA on June 14. Doors open at 8 p.m. and are free to those 21+.

MADE IN LA’s debut EP will feature a track with Lily and is slated for a June 2016 release
